DAY 1
KUALA NAMU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT -
BUKIT LAWANG
we will pick up you from the Medan
Airport to Bukit Lawang and deliver you to the Guest House
DAY 2
TREKKING IN LEUSER PARK
8.30am Our experienced guides will
pick you up at the hotel or guest house to explore the tropical rainforest for
1 Day, we will see some wildlife in the jungle like orangutans, gibbons,
peacocks, squirrels, a variety of monkeys, bird, insects and plants in it.
About 3/4 hour journey we will see
waterfalls in the jungle, and we will break for lunch and swimming. Having
finished lunch next we went swimming more trips into the jungle to see flora
and fauna.
2/3 the afternoon we will return to
the guest house to take the path of the river by using a tube rafting, or on
foot again, it is your choice.
DAY 3
BUKIT LAWANG – TANGKAHAN
Tangkahan Departing from Bukit Lawang towards
Tangkahan and Relax while enjoying the crystal clear waters of the river, and
there are hidden airpanas for some people, and occasionally seen large wild
fish in the river water and there is also a waterfall. then Elephants Trekking
& Washing.
DAY 4
TANGKAHAN - BERASTAGI
In the morning is free program until
you leave for the cool and pleasant highland town of Berastagi–a mountain
resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery which has
an abundance of flowers, vegetables and fruits (most famous of which is the
“Marquisa” passion fruit). The route will through winding road with lovely
countryside. In Brastagi you can also visit the famous fruits market and
Gundaling hill where you views two active volcanoes, Sinabung and
Sibayak.
DAY 5
BRASTAGI - Mt. SIBAYAK CLIMBING
You have to get up early in the
morning at 04.00 and walk with local guide up to the volcano where you can see
a beautiful sunrise. You will have wonderful far views over the environment. Also
you can see the smoking sulphur sources on the moon like landscape on the top
of the volcano. After descending, you can enjoy Lau Debuk Debuk hot spring.
DAY 6
BERASTAGI – SPISO-PISO – SAMOSIR
After breakfast drive to Samosir, on
the way visit another Batak Karo traditional village at Dokan, visit at
Sipiso-piso waterfall, stop at “Rumah Bolon” (Long House) the old Palace of
Batak Simalungun Kings and stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy the fantastic view
of Lake Toba . Upon arrival in Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry
boat, arriving on Samosir check-in to hotel.
DAY 7
SAMOSIR TOUR
After breakfast excursion on Samosir
Island by car and visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages at
Ø Ambarita (to see stone chairs and tables once used as execution
blogs for the ancient tribal chieftains)
Ø Simanindo (to see Batak Toba traditional dances and museum)
Ø Tomok (to see the old tomb of Sidabutar Kings and daily life
activities)
Afternoon return back to hotel and
free at leisure for swimming in the lake or strolling down the villages at the
nearby your hotel.
DAY 8
SAMOSIR - PADANG SIDEMPUAN
After breakfast crossing back to
Parapat by ferry and arrival at Parapat drive to Padang Sidempuan, on the way
stop at pineapple, clove and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market
at Balige. Before arrival at Padang Sidempuan the day enjoy the nature by
walking at the bank of the rice-fields. Arriving in Padang Sidempuan at early
evening, check-in to hotel.
DAY 9
PADANG SIDEMPUAN - BUKIT TINGGI
Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi by
passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the
attraction of monkey picking up the coconut. Visit pepper, vanilla, cardamom
and cinnamon garden, and crossing the equator line at Bonjol. At mid afternoon arriving
in Bukittinggi, the charming town of Minangkabau people, directly check-in to
hotel.
DAY 10
BUKIT TINGGI - MINANGKABAU TOUR
After breakfast drive to Batusangkar
via Tabek Patah, on the way stop at Rao-Rao to visit Minangkabau traditional
villages and stop to see traditional coffee milling, arrival at Batusangkar
drive to Pagaruyung to visit the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom. At mid
afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang and visit Pandai Sikat
village to see Minangkabau traditional hand weaving and wood carving.
DAY 11
BUKIT TINGGI - PADANG /AIRPORT
After breakfast drive to Padang, the
capital city of West Sumatra province, the drive takes approx. 2 hours passing
via Anai Valley with its beautiful natural view.
Arriving in Padang proceed
transferred to the airport for your flight departure to your next destination.
